So after the Olympic Rush I took a month long break from dance. Jus kind of bummed around relaxing. I took a little trip out to Toronto (my 3rd home) and reconnected with friends and made sum new friends...and connections...(hehehe)
As for now, BACK AT IT AGAIN!
Rehearsals have been in full swing for The House of La Douche under the guidance of our leader/mother Jojo Zolina. This is my second performance with the house and we are preparing an OVAH piece for the last ever FOR THE LUV OF IT on April 29/10. This is gonna be sick.............
A few of us also (yesterday) did a promo photo shoot for the house so those pictures will be floating around some time soon. Lots of love out to Jojo for just being himself and doing what he does. I honestly don't know how many things would run without you.
My crew, my family, my biggest scheduling catastrophe (j/k) LYRICAL THESIS has been filming our first theme piece ALICE. It has been awesome translating it from stage to film. We did location shots and green screen shots so this promises to be a cool product. Much thanks to HUGO LOPEZ of BOSS ENTERTAINMENT for facilitating and shooting this project for us.
We are also preparing our newest theme piece so be ready!!
My Bucky Top family got a chance to show out at THE HEAVY HITTERS workshop at the beginning of the month. The crew was in full attendance for all three classes (Jojo/Neeks Money/Luther Brown) and got our own little brukout after the Dancehall class. Much thanks to Neeks and Jojo for makin this happen.
PS Luther's class was BEAST!
